Eating yourself to death
10 Years ago having a burger or pizza was a privilege for us, cause there were hardly very few bakeries selling them. Today you have to break your head to select a place to have food, cause we are surrounded by millions of them. On top of that we have Swiggy, Zomato to deliver food in quick time. Eating habits of the urban India has changed and the millennials are the most affected. People have outside food at least 2 times a week and weekends have become mandatory.
Gone are the days when we savoured home made food. People are getting uncomfortable cooking food at home with job and time constraints. Bachelors living away from home have outside food almost 3 times a day and this is going to affect health in the long term.
The rate of consumption of junk food is growing at a rapid pace and obesity rates have also been growing at a rapid rate. We need to get back to our basics, home food has to be our priority. Ditch the food delivery apps which tempt to have food in hands within minutes, spend sometime to learn and cook food and have a healthy life. The dangerous prospects of junk food don’t hit until one day you are lying in the hospital paying millions to recover back to health.
