If you are reading this, you are privileged and lucky enough to lead a healthier and better life compared to millions concomitantly affected by the Corona Pandemic. Take a moment and thank the Universe _/\_

More than 1/3 of the world’s population are restricted to lock down in their homes and praying themselves to survive this pandemic which could turn out to be the biggest disaster in the history of mankind. All we can do this is stringently adhere to the government rules and stay locked home, but the real question is how long can you stay in those closed walls panicking about the virus.

The more you panic, the more you disturb your mental health and inversely affect your health and immunity system which could make you more prone to the corona virus. This is might be beyond one’s wildest dreams that one day we would be locked down in our own homes for weeks and months and literally do nothing, but trust me this could be the most enthralling time of your life if you do plan properly.

Work From Home: Hopefully majority of us are working from home, of course with it’s own set of benefits and drawbacks. The good thing is you don’t have to wake up super early, dress up and hustle your way through the tiring traffic to reach your workplace, now you can literally wake up and work on your bed. Set your schedule in a proper way so that you can finish of your work in quick time and spend rest of the time for other activities.

Choose Movies/TV Properly: The most popular option for people locked in homes would obviously be to watch Movies or TV Series. Of course there is no dearth for content with many OTT platforms available. The biggest common mistake you shouldn't be doing is repeat watching your favorite content again and again. This is the perfect time for you to explore different genres/languages/countries. There are lots of high quality content out there choose wisely and chill highly.

Wake Up Your Hobby: We all had some crazy hobby or pastime in our childhood as we grew up and got burdened in adult life we somehow missed out on those activities. This is the best time to revisit your hobbies if you are dying with boredom in your house. From painting to playing carroms with your family, relish your hobbies and re-live your childhood.

Best Time To Patch Up: You heard it right, imagined it wrong! All through our life we come across different types of people, sometimes in uncertain circumstance we do clash up with some like you schoolmates, relatives, colleagues, etc. We may end up with a cold war or a heated argument with that person although we didn’t intend to but our ego keeps us away from apologizing. Put aside all the negativity and apologize to them heart fully, cause we never when the world’s gonna end and no one would want to die with regrets in their last moments.

We Rise By Lifting Others: We are truly blessed that even in this dire situation we have access to basic necessities and other privileges but more than 70% of India is adversely affected by the lockdown with people struggling for food and shelter and they are more prone to the virus in these tough situations. As we all are spending money only for essentials and saving a lot of money which we spend for travel, clothing, food etc., please donate your saved money to the needy in this dreadful situation.

Health In Your Hands: In our busy working days we hardly get any time to focus on our diet and physical fitness. We majorly rely on processed and fast foods in squeezed time schedules, now that we anyhow don’t have access to junk food and purely rely on home food, this is the best time to detox your body. You can also start working out in your homes with body weight training and many more cardio exercises available online.

Choose Your Music: We as a generation have been confined to herd mentality in choosing our music taste. We are always pulled towards trending music albums, artists which are majorly utter bullshit. There are many talented artists out there undiscovered with soul soothing music, dig into YouTube and discover great music. Honorable Mentions: Alec Benjamin, Lauv, Alessia Cara, Troye Sivan, Khalid, Pink Floyd, The Beatles…

Cherish Your Memories: Hypothetically if you enjoy spending time at home with your family, enjoy these valuable moments; and even if you are away from home, go back in time, take out your old photo albums, archives, social media posts and re live your past memories cause you live life only once.

Re-Invent Yourself : We are stuck in a regular lifecycle all these days, even though if we wanted some changes in life, new goals, pending assignments; we were caught up in our own busy schedule. Sit alone all by yourself and visualize where you want to take your life and where you are stuck, eradicate all those barriers and achieve your dreams and goals. If it was that career change you were looking for go aim for it, if it was that toxic relationship you were stuck in let go of those negative people, if it was that hobby you always wanted to learn but never had time now is the moment to get started.

The way you spend your time defines you, take your time think it out and head in the righteous direction.
